My name is Latesha and I live just south of Boston, MA with my superhero husband Emmanuel, and my beloved fur baby (of the canine variety), Coco. I’m a bit of a perfectionist (and closeted nerd) who enjoys a great cup of tea on a rainy day. I am addicted to Craisins and sincerely believe dark chocolate should be a food group.
I was first bitten by the camera bug when I was 11 or 12 years old. My mother, an employee at Polaroid at the time, FINALLY granted me permission to fiddle around with her Spectra System camera. M.I.N.D. B.L.O.W.N.!! Fast forward a few years later when my first job was in a cytogenetic laboratory (#teennerd) There, part of my job was to develop black and white pictures of chromosomes from amniocentesis exams. Most of my coworkers hated that part of the gig. Being alone...in a darkroom...with that SMELL....I was IN LOVE! Pure happiness!
I have had the distinct privilege and opportunity to work as a full-time freelance photographer/videographer for past 5 years, in addition to running digital media camps for youth ages 12-18 during the summer and/or school vacations. I truly love what I do! My clients become my friends/family, and my team - they're some of the most talented, diligent, and hilarious people on the planet.
Feel free to nose around the site a bit. Shoot me a message if you have any questions, or just want to say "Hi!"
